I am grateful for Church leaders and the great parables they use when they teach. We had, shall we say, a less than stellar experience today taking the kids to church; it was so bad we had to leave early. We sent all of the kids (except Pixel; she was very well-behaved and actually sad that we had to leave before the speakers were finished) to their rooms while we prayed and discussed what to do.
We came across some portions of talks given at the recent General Conference and used them to teach the kids in one-on-one meetings (all cozy in our bed - makes it less menacing, I guess).
Hopefully as the week progresses and as we approach next Sunday, we will all remember not to be stupid cows. :)
